Fort Myers is home base for us. Our shop is off Alico Road in south Fort Myers, and our crews work across the city every day, from the older streets off McGregor Boulevard to the newer communities along Daniels Parkway and Gateway.

We only do gutters: seamless installation, gutter repair, cleaning, gutter guards and the drainage work that goes with them, sized for Southwest Florida’s rainy season.

The city has a little of everything. Older homes near downtown and McGregor sit under big live oaks and royal palms that drop leaves and fronds into gutters all year. Newer homes in the south and east often were built without gutters at all, or with builder-grade 5-inch gutters that can’t handle a summer storm.

Either way, the fix starts with the right size. We install 6-inch seamless gutters as our standard and recommend 7-inch for most tile roofs and many large or steep metal roofs. We never install 5-inch here. See 6-inch and 7-inch gutters.

Before and after storm season

Most of Fort Myers’ yearly rain falls between June and September, often in short, heavy afternoon storms. That’s when clogged or undersized gutters fail. A cleaning in the spring, a quick check after any named storm, and guards on homes under heavy tree cover keep the system working when it matters.

My new house came without gutters. Do I need them?

In most cases, yes. Without gutters, roof water lands along the foundation, splashes the walls and washes out landscaping. Gutters and well-placed downspouts send it where you want it.

Do you clean gutters that have guards on them?

Yes. Guards cut down on cleanings a lot, but we can still service gutters with guards when needed.
